The Spread of Wild Cucumber in PEI (archive)

Wild cucumber is spreading rapidly in cental Prince Edward Island, probably under the influence of warmer weather.

Trees and shrubs that are blanketed by wild cucumber will be weakened, and some will not survive.

Here is wild cucumber along Confederation Trail in the New Annnan area, 2013.
